LIKE ME® Scholarship

LIKEME© is proud to announce that five recipients have been selected for the 2012 Scholarships. Each recipient has Honor grades and is extremely active in advocating for the LGBT community. Recipient's activism ranges from President of their school's GSA, speaking at State Legislatures on anti-bullying bills, designing school programs and speaking publicly in schools against LGBT bullying, as well as leading Pride, Aids Walk, and other LGBT programs in each of their respective cities. Each of these students is active in their community and an academic super achiever. We are proud to assist them in the start of their college career.

The recipients will be attending three state universities, as well as
private colleges in Illinois and Missouri.

The Chely Wright LIKEME© Scholarship provides financial support for students who actively advocate for LGBT youth and/or students who are severely affected by teen or gay bullying. Through this scholarship, LGBT-affected youth can apply for funding to pay for educational expenses.
